Maremma is a unique region, full of beautiful surprises.
There are many way to discover it: follow the country roads to the sea and beaches, through diverse farmland,
or up into the wooded hills. Stumble upon small medieval villages, sampling the local foods, or explore one of the
several Etruscan archaeological sites.
Everywhere there are little spots where you can recognize or feel Maremma. Admire the vista of the islands from
a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea, experience the natural colours and textures, lose yourself amongst the
ruined walls of an ancient fortress, gaze quietly at nearly forgotten masterpieces in the churches.
Maremma can be mild and soft, but it can also show its toughness in the heat of summer and the
cold of winter.
There is a strong sense of the season in every experience.
