The farmhouse is from the mid 19th century, and is characterized by a traditional outer staircase of
travertine on the frontal façade. In years past, olive oil was processed with the press on the ground floor,
and the second floor was home to a rural school.
The back faces the garden and overlooks the farm's olive groves and the picturesque hilltop village of Giuncarico,
a few kilometres away.
The building comprises eight apartments named after the "poderi" that formed "la Fattoria il Lupo":
· California

· Serratone

· Scheti

· Rovaie

· Vaccareccia

· Poggio gobbo

· Fontelunga

· Chiusone
On the first floor there are three apartments: Serratone, Scheti e Rovaie.
Continuing up the inner staircase with a vaulted brick ceiling, you arrive on the second floor with four additional
apartments: Vaccareccia, Poggio Gobbo, Fontelunga and Chiusone.
On the ground floor, the apartment California opens directly to the garden through an independent
entrance. This apartment has been built to be fully wheelchair accessible.
All the apartments were conceived in order to offer a comfortable and relaxing stay in a traditional environment.
The rooms have terracotta floors and vaulted ceilings in bricks with original wooden beams.
There is independent central heating for each apartment.
The bedrooms are bright and spacious, furnished in a simple Tuscan style. Every bedroom has a
shower-room or en suite, fully tiled with travertine.
The functional kitchens are fitted with worktop of local marble, gas hob, electric oven and fridge, as well as
crockery and kitchen utensils. All the apartments also have colour TV.
On the ground floor, in addition to the reception hall, our guests can relax in a reading room,
or wander in a small museum of olive oil processing and antique farming implements.
For larger dinner parties, wine degustation or olive oil tasting there is also a spacious room with traditional kitchen,
open fire place and long farmhouse table seating 18 (check with reception to reserve this room in advance of your party).
